Data and access in PINNEX: who can see what?

The QR code is the entry point. The PIN protects content. Private data, garage notes and vehicle history follow different rules.

QR code and PIN do different jobs

The QR code on the service card leads to the object's access page. The visible PINNEX ID identifies the card; it is not a secret. The vehicle's own six-digit PIN opens protected content. The PIN is not printed on the public card.

A personal account for the planned Wallet does not replace object-linked access and the PIN. Share a PIN only with authorised people.

Your data, business entries and internal notes

The garage demo separates customer-facing information from internal notes. Internal notes are intended only for the business's team. Customers see approved content, not the garage's whole working area.

A person's own photos and receipts in a future Wallet, and sharing them with other businesses, are still in preparation. Another business should see them only after permission.

If the card is lost

Card replacement is visible in the garage beta: the business blocks the old card and assigns a new one to the same vehicle. The PIN stays the same for a simple card replacement. A security incident may require a PIN change; the exact process belongs to the supported pilot.

The intended vehicle sale process

The transfer model is partly in pilot. Technical history, with work carried out, dates and the responsible business, is intended to stay with the vehicle. The previous PIN and access should be invalidated during transfer; the new owner receives a new PIN.

Repair costs are intended to transfer only with separate consent, off by default. Private messages, conversations with the data assistant and internal garage notes should not transfer. Full production implementation remains open.

Website, forms and privacy

This marketing website is not the production portal. A waitlist request is processed so PINNEX can contact you; read the privacy notice for retention, hosting and your rights. The interactive preview uses synthetic data and sends no real service request.

Concrete permissions in a future product follow the processes defined for the pilot. This website does not describe a blanket sharing of your data with other businesses.
