What this changes in the workshop

After a service, a card bearing your business's name stays in the customer's vehicle. When a question, fault or appointment request arises, a scan leads to the right vehicle view instead of a generic search. You can explore this route with sample data in the garage beta.

PINNEX complements your workshop software. You still create quotes and invoices in your own systems; approved documents can appear in the vehicle record.

The intended pilot flow

  1. 01

In the business portal, select the vehicle and activate its service card. This assignment is visible in the local garage beta.

  2. 02

Give the card to your customer at the service visit. It has a QR code and visible identifier, but no secret PIN.

  3. 03

The customer scans the card and enters the vehicle's six-digit PIN. Protected information stays hidden without it.

  4. 04

An appointment, callback or fault request can reach the business with vehicle and contact context. The demo screen shows this flow using synthetic data.

  5. 05

Your work can become a service-business entry in the vehicle history. Customer-facing information and internal notes are separate in the demo.

Documents and information

The garage beta shows the vehicle record, documents, history, requests and calendar. You choose which business information customers can see. Internal notes remain internal.

PDFs recorded as manuals or service instructions can be up to 32 MiB and 400 pages in the current garage beta. Other PDFs can be up to 5 MiB and 20 pages; JPEG and PNG photos up to 5 MiB. See the FAQ for the full file limits.

What is not complete yet

Ownership transfer and the data assistant are partly in pilot. Reminders and TWINT payment directly to the business are planned. A PRORUM connection is also planned. Anlagenpass for technical systems is in preparation.

The 2027 garage pilot has a non-binding guide price of CHF 1'950 setup and CHF 149 per month for Care. Up to 100 service cards are envisaged. Actual terms and scope are set out in the personal pilot offer.

Discuss a live demo or pilot

On the business page, choose live demo, waitlist, pilot or a question and send your request. PINNEX responds personally. An enquiry alone does not activate production access.
